At the heart of the scenario was an exploration of initiation practices as methods of necessary maturation. These practices were an important part of hunter-gatherer tribes, and as a myth continued in the tales of farmers and, later, in the deeper forms of reality perception in modern man. The play posed a serious question of responsibility for one's own perception of the world before the important stage of life - marriage
