Outside and street theatre
Performative march
Major Kovalev's Nose
Аdvertising campaign for the premiere of The Nose on the streets of St Petersburg
The events of Gogol's story unfolds in the streets of St Petersburg. Many places have a symbolic meaning and a magical feeling. The performative procession erases the veneer of ordinariness at the locations and connects directly with the irrational hypostasis of space, thus creating intrigue and the atmospheric image of the performance. Despite the creative challenge, all the tickets for the premieres were sold

Shakespeare's sonnets. Inspirations
The opening of the courtyard of theatre CEH
The performance is a coproduction between the theatre CEH and the theatre group metazero. The performance is based on Shakespeare's sonnets, which the performers and artists translate into visual and sound images, thus creating spaces of interpretation and co-creation with audience. The first part took place in the theatre courtyard and was manifested through visual images and interactions, thus actualising the industrial exterior, poetry and main themes: Love, Freedom and Fighting. The second part was realised through sound and took place inside the theatre. The audience, in complete darkness, was inside the sound space, creating musical and noise effects that complemented the visual, interactive, performative experiences.

Day Che
The ritualistic performative act of revealing Chekhov's spirit
ART-Band and Chekhov

Three artists from different theatres and a one sculptor gathered for an eight-hour performance dedicated to Anton Chekhov. Each hour changed the aesthetics, the set of images, situations and themes associated with Chekhov's dramatic works. A huge head made of woodworking reminiscent of the everyday life in the countryside, peeled skin and exposed nerves, and a ritual centre requiring the connection of deep feelings that respond on a delicate level.

Brodsky. Beauty
Every winter St. Petersburg encounters the same problem - utility services fail to clear snow in the city. Because of the difference in temperature, ice appears on the pavements, leading to numerous injuries for citizens. A riotous radio station takes on the streets to save the city and its inhabitants, transforming snow and ice into shapes, shapes into letters, letters into the words of Joseph Brodsky from his essay " The Embankment of the Incurable": "Beauty in low temperatures is real Beauty".
