theater for teenagers

Nowadays, theater for teenagers is a space where questions of identity, purpose, and communication are actualized. It manifests itself through circumstances in which spectators become parts of an imaginary world, where the development and construction of the story depend on their actions. The structures and mechanisms of computer- and role-playing games, interaction through AR technologies, and the actualization of existential questions through performative practices are used for this purpose.

Theater meeting with video games
The performance-game is a four-part composition based on a story by the Strugatsky brothers and the history of the puppet theater building. Every 60 years an Anomaly happens on the territory of the present theater building, the last two occurrences have documentary (mockumantary) evidence. The first one was "documented" by scientists of the Bacteriological Institute in 1899, the second one by a special department of KGB in 1959. The participants in the performance are witnesses to a third incident, which, by some indications, is happening right now. Since the Anomaly, as in past manifestations, is sensitive to teenagers, it is up to them to investigate its presence. Guided by the "documents" of its predecessors from 1899 and 1959, using AR technology in the theatre building space, being inside past incidents (interactive cinema), where a series of right decisions, will lead to the final part. To an encounter with Anomaly, which it is important not to be afraid of that.
